RPE AS characteristics?

The RPE AS is a Routing Policy Enable application server.

The main functions of the Cirpack RPE AS are to manage:

• portability services of fixed and mobile numbers
• user name control services and pre-selection of the calling person
• the centralized routing order of the traffic vs Softswitch services platforms

It can run in a IP network and manages interfaces with NGN Softswitch and IMS MTAS.

The Cirpack RPE AS is sold as a hardware.
